Raffle Terms & Disclaimer

    1.    Sponsor & Purpose - This raffle is conducted by YINZgiving in partnership with Burgettstown Youth Wrestling. The proceeds support YINZgiving’s annual Thanksgiving meal distribution in Pittsburgh.

    2.    Eligibility & Age - you must be at least 18 years old to purchase raffle chances or win a prize. This raffle is open only to residents legally permitted to participate under Pennsylvania law.

    3.    Ticket Price & Chances - Each raffle chance costs $50. You may purchase more than one chance (up to the number of tickets available). Ticket holders are not required to be present at the drawing to win.

    4.    Numbering & Equality - Each ticket constitutes an equal chance. Tickets (or entries) must be consecutively numbered, and purchaser information recorded as required by state regulations. If any ticket is invalid, refunded, or otherwise not entered into the drawing, the purchase price will be refunded.

    5.    Prize Limits & Permits - Under Pennsylvania’s small games of chance laws, single prizes exceeding certain values may require a special raffle permit. The total value of all prizes awarded in a raffle month must also remain within regulatory limits unless a special permit has been issued.  YINZgiving has obtained all necessary permits and complies with county and state licensing requirements.

    6.    Drawing & Winner Notification - Winners will be determined by random drawing after all tickets for a given prize reach their sales limit. Winners will be notified via email and text message within 48 hours of the drawing. If a winner does not respond or cannot be reached within 48 hours, YINZgiving reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

    7.    Claiming Prizes - Prizes must be claimed within one year of the raffle drawing date.  The raffle sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected, or incorrect contact information. Prizes are awarded “as is.” No substitutions, transfers, or cash equivalents, unless otherwise stated by the sponsor.

    8.    Tax Liability - Winners are responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with their prize. YINZgiving may issue required tax forms for prizes over reporting thresholds.

    9.    Non-deductibility of Purchase - The cost of a raffle chance is not tax-deductible. Donations to the organization outside of raffle purchase may be tax-deductible.

    10.    Legal Compliance & Governing Law - This raffle is conducted in accordance with Pennsylvania’s Local Option Small Games of Chance Act and related regulations.  By participating, entrants agree to abide by the raffle rules and decisions of YINZgiving, which are final. This raffle and related disputes are governed by Pennsylvania law.
