Yinzgiving Volunteer Disclosure and Agreement

Thank you for volunteering with Yinzgiving! Your support allows us to bring the joy of a warm Thanksgiving meal to families across Pittsburgh.

To ensure a safe, smooth experience, please carefully review the following responsibilities and acknowledgments:

Volunteer Responsibilities:

- Volunteers delivering meals are required to use their personal vehicles for transportation.

Volunteers must hold a valid driver’s license and ensure their vehicle is legally permitted for road use.

- Gas, parking fees, tolls, parking tickets, or any other vehicle-related expenses are the responsibility of the volunteer. Yinzgiving will not reimburse these expenses.

- Yinzgiving is not liable for any accidents, damages, or incidents that may occur while driving or delivering meals.

Safety Guidelines:

- Volunteers are required to act safely and responsibly when delivering meals.

- For your safety, please do not enter the homes of meal recipients under any circumstances. All deliveries should be completed at the recipient’s doorstep.

- If a situation feels unsafe or unclear, contact the event organizers immediately for assistance.

Volunteers are encouraged to drive cautiously and avoid hazardous weather conditions or unsafe areas. If you are unable to complete your route, notify the organizers immediately.

Acknowledgment:

By signing up to volunteer for Yinzgiving, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this disclosure. You understand that Yinzgiving organizers are not responsible for any vehicle-related expenses, accidents, or liabilities incurred during the event, and you agree to act safely and in accordance with the above guidelines while participating in this event.
